learning log May 10th

So today I caught up with my learning logs since I have not done them for three classes :/ but now I completed all of them. Today I also looked for another tutorial since I want to do something else, I am looking for something abstract. Our teacher showed us a book with art and cool ideas. I learned that I should do my learning logs every class because when they eventually pile up. Next class I will find my tutorial and get started.

Learning log May 8th

Finally! I finished my project. I think I did very well, it sure looks familiar from the one in the tutorial. I only had trouble adding the last path, I do not know why it would not work, but I tried: this is what I could not add--->

As you can see I am only missing that last path which I am still wondering why it did not work.
I really like the effect of the eyes, I did not know how to do that, now I know :)
I definitely learned new thing with this tutorial. And I practiced using the pen tool and the blending options so now I know how to use them better.

I am hoping to find a new tutorial I will enjoy.

Learning log May 4th

As you know I am still working on my ironman tutorial, it is looking much better, I believe I will finish it next class. I moved on to part 2 of the tutorial. I had trouble with some of the blending effect because I could not place it where I wanted. I could not add one of the highlights because it would just not work.

This is the light I could not add to mine, but it ended up looking very similar.
Next class I will continue with the eyes. I think I am doing a good job so far. I am still using mostly the pen tool, shapes and blending options.

learning log May 2nd

So today I continued my ironman using the pen tool and many blending effects. I feel like I keep learning the same thing with the tutorial because most of the process is using the pen tool and blending options. I created more layers adding more detail. I have trouble making the shapes, they are either to small or to big. I have been working all class on this because I wan to finish it soon to start something else.
